Apply These Secret Techniques To Success | The key to success

The key to success

Imitating successful people is one of the keys to success.

However, be careful if you ask them for advice. A lot of times people don't know why they're successful, but they'll give you all the explanations you want anyway.

One night on the news, I saw a 100-year-old man explain that smoking a good cigar every day was one of the secrets of his longevity.

It would be nice to know why he lived so long, but I'm sure we won't learn by asking him.

The key to success: studying successful people

The key, then, is not to do what successful people say, but rather to do what they do.

Here's how to learn how to be successful. Naturally, you have to take a close look and apply a little intelligence to see what they are really doing that is causing their success.

A successful real estate investor told me he doesn't believe in goal setting. Yet, watching and listening to him, I realized that he knew exactly where he expected to be with his plans in six months.

This, of course, is goal setting; he just called the process something else.

Never stop listening to what successful people have to say, read between the lines. Hear how they think about things, how they approach their challenges.

Suppose a good basketball player's advice is to simply train more, but he casually mentions "I saw it coming" after a good shot.

Isn't it time to start visualizing your plans?

Key to success: the role model of successful people

You won't always know what makes a person successful.

Internet marketers promote their websites by exchanging links, but when I tried exchanging links with other websites for the first time, the owners did not respond to my e-mails.

Then I found a simple email letter used by an internet marketer to get links. It sounded silly to me and wanted to change it, but tried it anyway.

It worked several times.

It is more important to do the right things than to understand why they are right.

Understanding is also great, but at first, it may be best to just copy a lot of the actions, attitudes, and approaches of someone who is successful. Try to model success before you even understand it.

As you learn more, you can remove the non-contributory parts and add your own.

If you are modeling a successful father, for example, and life with your children improves, is it important that you immediately know which changes have been the most effective? Of course not.

Is it better to understand why what you are doing is working? Sure, but you might never understand why some things work, and that's okay too. Better to succeed than to explain it,

so find successful people and do what they do, not what they say.

This is an important key to success.

One key to success is to find successful people to emulate. Be careful if you ask for advice, though. Here is a better plan.
